This is not true with all suppliers. Maintaining an Amazon account is not suitable for all wholesalers. In our case even though we do occasionally sell to B2C using our own store(no marketing for website), we don't sell on Amazon. In our case, getting the brand out there is more important than us selling ourselves on these major platforms. Let me know if you have any more questions.
At RUIGOR we outsource Amazon. Thus we allow more than one supplier to sell on the platform. As you know, Amazon is for skilled people. You can check out the sellers profile, evaluate their performance, measure their SEO, identify fallacies in their images and infographics, outscore them with advertisement and more. If you think that you can do better, then why not doing it? Buyers will flock to you instead of the other shop.
