Hello,

I was wondering if anyone at Salehoo or in the forum community has had any experience with a drop shipper/supplier named Buy2Bee? The website is Link hidden: Login to view. I have tried to contact them by phone and left a message twice and also sent a few e-mails letting them know I was interested but I had a couple questions before I signed up. Their service is $199 a month and they also have a Shopify service for $249 a month. I thought it was a little pricey but thought it might be worth a try. However, if the customer service is poor it could be a terrible move.

If anyone has had any experience with them and would like to share, I would appreciate the help and input. I don't really want to make a mistake at this price level and also risk my reputation as a seller. I didn't find anything on the forum about them so I'm thinking they might be starting a new service.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Best regards,

Jeff

Hi Jeff and welcome to the forum,

I know nothing about them personally, but here is some domain info on them Link hidden: Login to view. To your point about customer service, that is a huge red flag to me. If you're going to be paying out that kind of money each month, I would be looking for far better customer service than that.

The question you need to ask yourself is, what happens when you have an issue that needs resolving for one of your customers and you get treated like you are currently?

Thanks for the reply and welcome Mark. I have really enjoyed my membership here so far!

Your thoughts on it was exactly what I was thinking. I will definitely update this post if I hear back from them and/or end up trying their service. Thanks for the help.

No problems Jeff,

If you do move forward with them, make sure you use a safe payment method to cover yourself in the event you're not happy. Not leaves you an avenue to get your money back at the very least..

Hello,

I just wanted to update to say that these guys did e-mail me back eventually and apologized for the delayed reply. I think they would rather communicate by e-mail which is usually my preferred method as well. However, the first time I wanted to speak to someone over the phone to see how fast the response is and also ask a few questions before I decided if that is what I wanted to do.

They did say that they would call me the next day if I wanted them to and so I said yes. I will talk to them sometime hopefully tomorrow. They did say that they had several drop shippers already using the service and were polite in the e-mail.

Thanks Mark. By a safe payment method, would you mean something like MasterCard, Visa or PayPal that has a chargeback option or a method in place resolve issues?

Hi Jeff, thanks for the update on these guys and yes, by safe payment method I mean credit card or PayPal, something that has a funds reversal option attached in the event you need it.

Cheers

Hello Jeff, I've been following your dialogue regarding Buy2bee.com.

Have you had the opportunity to make a determination? I'm also curious.

Hi Jeff,

We are so sorry to have been delayed in responding. We understand customer service is a priority when choosing a dropshipping service, as there will always be a need for communication in a swiftly time manner for handling your own customers’ questions. Our customer service responses via email are much faster replies. However, we are available over the phone during our office hours 10:00 am to 4:00 pm pacific time Monday through Friday. Please do email us if you have not been able to reach us via phone, and we will call you promptly if you request us to do so.

I also wanted to let you know a little more information regarding us. We have an extensive catalog on the most exclusive, high-end designer brands with a value of over $1.5m. Our dropshipping service is easily integratable with our Shopify App or with our API + .CSV option. All product information, images, and real-time quantities are synched seamlessly to your online store. All of our orders are shipped blindly from either our US or Italian warehouse, and we offer a 21 day return policy. Returns are easy and all ship to our logistics center in Los Angeles. All orders are shipped with FedEx and tracking information is always available on your profile page for easy tracking.

I hope that I was able to answer some of your questions and concerns, and look forward to speaking to you!

Thank you,

So I was considering using Buy2Bee in the near future, but there are some unusual things I noticed.

1. How is it possible for Buy2Bee to buy these designer name brand products directly from the manufacturers, and sell them at a fraction of retail? I find it hard to believe that I can buy a Tod's Women's Handbag with a retail price of $2,457 for $614.25.

2. I would think that only authorized resellers would have permission to order directly from the manufacturers, and the margins wouldn't be as fantastic as they seem to be on the Buy2Bee website.

3. Followed the paper trail, and here's what I came up:

*Buy2Bee is La Moda Italiana' Inc.
*Buy2Bee's/La Moda Italiana's physical address is 112 W 9th St Suite 809, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
*If you Google "la moda italiana 112 W 9th St, Los Angeles, CA 90015" a restaurant shows up to the same address with the same business name.
*La Moda Italiana' registered with the State of California on April 4th, 2010.
*The Buy2Bee(La Moda Italiana') Facebook page says their wholesale business started 30 years ago but they only registered in the State of California 7 years ago.
*La Moda Italiana' Inc. registered for a trademark for "Buy2Bee" which was registered in London on May 31, 2016.
*The trademark was registered by a company called Novamoda Limited in London.
*Novamoda Limited has an apartment listed in London as its office address.

There are a lot of unusual things I mentioned above. I used to work in the bulk wholesale cell phone business where 1 out of every 1 person(meaning everyone) was a scammer trying to rip you off. I'm not saying that Buy2Bee is a scam, just know you really have to research companies now a days to make sure you're not getting scammed. I honestly hope that they are a legitimate company because I would love to order their products at those prices, but like most things, it seems to good to be true. Hopefully they will comment on this topic.

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum,

Nothing wrong in doing your due diligence, however, SaleHoo does verify all the suppliers before approving them for entry into our directory to ensure members do have a safe trading environment. I've checked with support and we have no reports on file regarding this supplier, in regards to personal feedback from other members, I was only able to find one for you.

Thanks for the reply Mark. Reading about someone who used them only for a month until they got going on eBay doesn't exactly instill a lot of confidence in me. I found them via Google not through Salehoo. I mean honestly, there are only the possible ways that they do business:

1. They are completely legitimate and have amazing relationships built where in they get amazing deals I never would have even thought possible.

2. They are selling REALLY good knock offs.

3. They are a completely fake business with a great website but who are scamming customers who will likely never receive any product. Kind of like when a guy I dealt with a while back SWORE he had brand new iPads in bulk at wholesale. I had a buyer, they paid, and after weeks and weeks of excuses from him, they finally got their order...............only it was a box of cheap ceramic mugs instead of iPads.

Again, I really hope it's #1. On a side note, what is the verification process that Salehoo goes through when determining whether a supplier is legitimate or not? Thanks in advance.

Hello Chris,

I must say you're really good at doing your homework :)

I checked the information you provided in your first post and most check out although I didn't see La Moda Italiana restaurant when I looked via Google street view. I have passed on your concerns directly to our directory administrator who will be able to help you with your concerns more accurately.

We take a number of steps to ensure that suppliers meet our rigorous standards before they are added to the database.

Again our directory admin will be in contact with you soon. Cheers!

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the inquiries regarding Buy2Bee. To start, I would like to clarify how our company originated. La Moda Italiana is the American extension of our mother Italian company, that has been in business for many years. Buy2Bee is the website extension of La Moda Italian.

We are able to offer our products at such amazing prices because of the connections we have made in the industry for the past many years. We are able to purchase samples, overstock, cancelled orders, and special goods. We have legal documents for all the brands listed on our site. This all reflects back to our relationships we have made with these brands.

Regarding our site, we just recently launched many new features and take our website very seriously. We offer different dropshipping programs, including an App specifically designed to integrate into Shopify's platform. We are also unique in that we ship worldwide and don't focus on one region Link hidden: Login to view. We are always striving to give our customers the greatest advantages in a very competitive industry. If you are curious about what we offer, please visit our site, or contact us through email or our office phone.

Regarding our address, the address listed is correct. The restaurant you are referring to is located downstairs and connected to our lobby.

Pertaining to our Trademark, Buy2Bee was registered by another one of our companies owned by the same person in the UK for internal purposes.

If you ever find yourself in Los Angeles or Italy, we would be happy to give you a tour of our warehouse or a meeting via appointment as we try to be as open with our customers as possible. We understand this business isn't for everyone and hope the above mentioned information helps clarify your concerns.

Thank you,

Thanks for the reply Madelyn. If what you say is true then the contact with the high end manufacturers you have built are priceless. I will likely place an order with buy2bee in the near future and post an update on how my transaction went, so other buyers will know about your company as well. Again, thanks for the info.

Thanks for clarifying everything for Chris Madelyn, we really appreciate suppliers providing our members with that sort of in-depth and speedy support. I'm sure not only Chris will benefit from that, but hopefully many other members also interested in your products will as well.

Cheers

Hi there, we're looking at dealing with Buy2Bee as they have high-quality products while they still appear in the unregistered supplier's list, therefore, should we need any more info before taking the next step?
Thanks

Hi Izac,

Just to clarify for you, this supplier is now a fully approved SaleHoo supplier, they are just listed under their trading name in our directory (La Moda Italiana, Inc), not listed under their website domain name (buy2bee.com)

Hi Madelyn and Salehoo Admins,
Sorry to hijack this thread but I had related questions and thought I will post them here so all the information stays in the same thread

I am particularly focused on handbags. All your handbags are high end designer brands. I think brands like Gucci, Prada and possibly others in your catalog need reseller permit. Then on what basis can a retailer use your dropshipping service? What are our options if we are asked to provide a documentation to prove that reselling your branded items is legal?

Hi Mamta,
In these situations, SaleHoo requires suppliers to forward proof of authenticity documentation before verifying. As a SaleHoo member, you can also request to view that same documentation from the supplier for your own benefit.

Dear All,

I see that Buy2Bee ( owned by Inmoda Srl), made supplier reviews several times. I believe there is a strong reason for it.

I wanted to try dropshipping with them, and probably purchase wholesale later on. I don't want to sound rude or equal to that, but this company is probably the worst in dropshiping. Thank god that we didn't even start with them, we were lucky.

For several reasons I asked them to cancel our account/ticket, which did not even started to work.

1. They never answer back their emails, or even if they do, it takes a long long time.
2. You can not reach them on phone, impossible! :)
3. I wanted to try them at least one Month, but again, impossible - they never managed to open an account for us. Very very slow moving company
4. I phoned their "mother company" in Italy, which again is hard to find, and asked them to cancel our account, and we on our side have to cancel our PayPal Pre-payment with them. This they did very fast (a lady in Italy), without asking any questions - probably she is aware of situations like these. She doesnt even care anymore to try to keep clients in :)

What I want to say in the end is that they're really not client-oriented.

Buy2Bee is definitely not the company with whom you can enter in to dropshiping business.
They simply don`t care about dropshipers and customers inquiries!
We have had a very huge disappointment with them, and thank god that happened before they started to charge us for their so called "service"

Hi All,
Hi Salehoo

I believe that you have a quality standard level for suppliers. We found here buy2bee.com, and tried with them a dropshiping and wholesale.
Unfortunately a DISASTER, like nobody works there and they just went to a long vacation!

My question to Salehoo:
Do we have to do our due diligence also for suppliers here, or you have a standard that they have to meet?

Thank You

Hi Naser,

Can you provide more information about your experience with buy2bee? Did you reach out to them as a potential retailer and never heard back or are you already working with them?

Looking forward to your reply.
